Forming positive thoughts and intentions before the class - is one of the most important yoga practices. Some teachers would ask you to think about somebody you love and devote your class to them, some will hand out cards, like this one below. I love this bit of my exercising, it not only helps to clear your mind and focus on one thing, but also makes you to think about stuff and people that are important - great way to feel happy over small things. I go to Triyoga in London (https://www.triyoga.co.uk) , I love it for the location ( it's 15 minutes walk from my flat) and for massive studio windows you can look out while exercising or meditating.
