Kale: new superfood

Kale is definitely having the moment, much loved by celebrity from Beyonce to Gwyneth, it appears on every menu of every organic eatery in London, in variety of guises from a green juice, or a part of a super food salad or, most popular, crisps(the recipe below).  Rich in calcium, as well as vitamins A  C and K, it is often called the 'new meat', especially for those on vegetarian or vegan diet,  while can't fully replace meat it definitely can be a great substitute for certain supplements.
Home made kale crisps is a great snack, and an awesome alternative to potato ones, much easier to make than is normally considered.
You will need:
1 bunch of Kale, a little bit ( about 1 tbs of olive oil) and salt.
How:
Heat the oven to 180 C. Wash and dry the kale, cut the ribs, discard, chop remaining leaves. Place the cut leaves in a bowl and toss it with olive oil,  salt and pepper. Lay the leaves on baking tray in a single layer. Bake it for 25-30 minutes ( be careful, they burn pretty quickly). Let crisps cool on a tray for about 15 minutes. Enjoy!

The original recipe was tried from The Week
